Music at Christ Church

Coffeehouse Serenade is a fun-filled evening of music, coffee and dessert! (You can BYOB). This year the theme is "100 years of Music." Beginning in 1918 and ending in 2018, the choir and soloists will sing through the decades with songs such as "Sugartime," "Duke of Earl," and "New York, New York." This evening is quite a crowd pleaser! Seating is first come, first serve and the admission fee is a donation that benefits the Christ Church Choir's concert at Carnegie Hall.

Our Christ Church Choir has been invited to participate in a performance of John Rutter's Magnificat on the DCINY Concert Series in New York City. The concert is in the Isaac Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall under the baton of Jonathan Griffith.  Our choir will be joined by 200 other singers around the world and accompanied by a full orchestra.

Twenty-six members of our choir will be be traveling to New York City at their own expense. We would very much appreciate your tax free donations to help our choir with this once in a lifetime opportunity to sing at Carnegie Hall!

Friday, September 28th at 7pm in the Parish Hall.
